Which German document needs an apostille?
An apostille confirms the authenticity of a German court document for use in countries that recognise the Hague Apostille Convention. It does not replace recognition of the contents by the foreign authority or a translation. We need the original and a signed Vollmacht. Send a request first; you sign the form and send the original once we take on the work.
Court papers are often needed abroad when a German case has to be shown or continued.
Judgments, orders, minutes or certified copies can fall under different offices and requirements. Describe the document as precisely as possible in the request. We review your request based on what you tell us.
Our service is the apostille process for a German court document you already have. We do not apply to the court for a new copy.
Depending on the court, the federal state and the form of the document, a pre-certification may be needed before the apostille. If it is required, we handle it as a separate service for 95 €.
One fixed price for apostille handling.
