One fixed price for apostille handling.
If our review already shows that an apostille is not possible, we do not charge for handling or the official fee. If the competent authority refuses the application only after it has been filed, we charge 45 € including VAT per document for document review and application preparation, plus any official fees that were actually incurred and cannot be refunded.
Return shipping of the original is still charged at the method you choose. In-person collection has no return-shipping cost.
Depending on the document, additional steps may be required.

For certain documents, the apostille authority can only issue the apostille after pre-certification by another authority or institution. This is mandatory for German police clearance certificates (Führungszeugnis) and is then part of the total. It is often required for school, university and certain medical documents. Whether it applies depends on the document, the issuing institution and the federal state. Where it is not already in the total, we provide this as a separate service for 95 €.
After you send a request, we review it and get back to you. You receive the Vollmacht and the instructions for sending the original once we take on the work. We begin handling once we have both the original document and the signed Vollmacht.
